ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Accountant General Pakistan Revenues (AGPR) has issued a schedule of deadlines for the submission and processing of payments and claims as the financial year 2025-26 comes to a close.
According to an official notification, all Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) have been directed to submit claims related to recent purchases and services by 12 June 2026. The directive is part of routine year-end financial closing procedures.
The AGPR further stated that re-submission of non-approved claims linked to previously issued tokens will also be allowed until 15 June 2026, but only for tokens issued up to 12 June.
For assignment accounts managed under AGPR Islamabad and its subordinate offices, the deadline for submission of release requests has been set for 19 June 2026.
Officials clarified that no claims related to honorarium will be accepted after 12 June 2026. In addition, computer-generated statements for off-cycle payments will be received only until 11 June, while processing of such statements will continue on a temporary basis until 16 June 2026.
The notification also warned that salary cheques issued for the current financial year will expire at the end of the fiscal cycle. After 30 June 2026, no replacement cheques will be issued for lapsed instruments.
Authorities have urged all departments to strictly comply with the deadlines to avoid delays in financial settlements and end-of-year disruptions.
