SIACHEN (Dunya News) - Soldiers of the Pakistan Army deployed at the snow-covered frontlines of the Siachen Glacier have issued a special message to the nation on the occasion of Eidul Azha, reaffirming their unwavering commitment to defending the country under the toughest weather and battlefield conditions.
On the occasion of Eidul Azha, the brave troops stationed at the world’s highest and one of the most difficult military fronts remained fully alert and prepared while extending heartfelt Eid greetings to the people of Pakistan from the icy peaks of Siachen.
In their special Eid message, the soldiers said that while the entire nation is celebrating Eid festivities with joy and happiness, they continue to remain vigilant on the snow-covered mountains of Siachen to safeguard the homeland at all times.

The troops stated that despite freezing temperatures, icy winds, and extremely harsh mountainous terrain, they are standing like a solid wall for the protection and security of the country.
They further said that Eidul Azha teaches the values of sacrifice, selflessness, and devotion for the motherland, adding that the honour and dignity of the green crescent flag are dearer to them than their own lives.
The soldiers vowed that any aggression by the enemy would be responded to with full force and determination, emphasizing that the armed forces are fully prepared to defend every inch of the country.
The troops also appealed to the nation to offer special prayers during Eid for Pakistan’s peace, stability, security, and for the brave personnel of the Pakistan Army performing their duties in difficult conditions across the country’s borders.
