Pakistan Railways to run three special trains on Eidul Azha

Updated on:

The first special train will depart from Quetta to Karachi on May 23

(Web Desk) - Pakistan Railways has announced the operation of three special trains on the occasion of Eidul Azha to facilitate passengers travelling to different cities across the country.

Officials said the special Eid trains will consist of 7 to 8 coaches each.

According to the schedule, the first special train will depart from Quetta to Karachi on May 23. The second train will run from Karachi to Rawalpindi on May 24, passing through Multan, Faisalabad, and Sargodha.

The third special Eid train will operate from Karachi to Lahore on May 25.

However, reports noted that Peshawar has not been included in this year’s special Eid train operations, as no direct Eid trains have been announced from Karachi, Lahore, or Quetta to the city.

The initiative is aimed at accommodating increased passenger demand during the Eid holidays and easing travel pressure on regular train services.
