Momina accused the political personality of subjecting her to prolonged online harassment

(Web Desk) – Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal has filed a harassment complaint after which the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has formally initiated legal proceedings and summoned Member of Provincial Assembly Saqib Chadhar and his wife Sameera Khan.

According to media reports, the NCCIA directed both individuals to appear before the agency on Friday, May 22. The development comes after the actress accused an influential political personality of subjecting her to prolonged online harassment, cyberbullying, mental torture, and death threats.

In a detailed Instagram story shared a day earlier, Momina Iqbal stated that she had repeatedly lodged complaints with the NCCIA, the Federal Investigation Agency and the Punjab Police, but alleged that no proper action was taken due to political influence.

The actress claimed that instead of receiving justice, she was discouraged from pursuing the matter while she and her family continued to face serious threats. She appealed to the authorities for a transparent and impartial investigation and demanded immediate protection for her family.

Momina Iqbal also tagged senior officials, government offices, news channels, and media platforms in her social media post, expressing hope that those abusing their authority or obstructing justice would be dealt with according to the law.

Following her allegations and the NCCIA’s action, the matter has sparked widespread discussion on social media, with many users urging authorities to take immediate action. Attention is now focused on the upcoming investigation and what further facts may emerge in the case.
