QUETTA (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq against terrorists was continuing with full force during his visit to the Command and Staff College in Quetta.
Addressing officers at the college, the prime minister praised the professional capabilities and sacrifices of the Pakistan Army and paid tribute to the armed forces for what he described as a historic success under the leadership of Syed Asim Munir.
Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan had adopted a responsible and cautious approach in response to Indian aggression and would defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity at all costs.
The prime minister also reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for the people of Kashmir and Palestine.
Federal ministers and the Chief Minister of Balochistan accompanied the prime minister during the visit, while Field Marshal Asim Munir received him upon arrival.
Later, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif departed for Islamabad after completing his one-day visit to Quetta.
Balochistan Governor Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail saw the prime minister off at the airport.
During the visit, Shehbaz Sharif chaired a meeting of the Balochistan Apex Committee where participants reviewed the province’s law and order situation.
Important decisions regarding security and public order were also taken during the meeting.
The prime minister also met Governor Balochistan and various delegations during his stay in Quetta.
