KARACHI (Dunya News) – Gold prices surged in both international and local markets on Monday following an increase in global bullion rates.
After a two-day break, the price of gold in the international bullion market climbed by $9 per ounce, reaching $4,548, which pushed local gold prices higher as well. In domestic bullion markets, the price of one tola of gold rose by Rs900 to settle at Rs477,162.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs772, reaching Rs409,089 across the country.
Meanwhile, silver prices also recorded gains in global and local markets. The international silver rate rose by 26 cents per ounce to $76.15, leading to an increase of Rs26 in the local price of one tola of silver, which reached Rs8,099. The price of 10 grams of silver also climbed by Rs22 to Rs6,943.
