KARACHI (Dunya News) - A brief disturbance occurred during a concert of Pakistani singer Atif Aslam in Karachi when a female fan climbed onto the stage and began taking selfies with the artist.
The incident took place during a performance at DHA Sports Club. Viral videos on social media showed Atif Aslam performing when the fan suddenly approached the stage.
The singer initially responded in a friendly manner, posing for a picture with the fan and attempting to keep the atmosphere pleasant.
However, the situation changed when the woman continued trying to take more selfies and refused to leave the stage despite repeated gestures from event staff asking her to step down.
Organisers and security personnel later intervened and escorted the fan off the stage, after which the concert resumed normally.
Videos of the incident quickly spread across social media, where users questioned security and crowd management arrangements at concerts. Several people also demanded stricter measures to ensure artists’ safety.
