After lunch, Mushfiqur Rahim fell to Shaheen Afridi without adding to his score. Abadot Hossain followed soon after, dismissed for a duck by Mohammad Abbas, caught behind by Mohammad Rizwan. Tsikhin Ahmed contributed 28 runs, while Nahid Rana added 4.

Mohammad Abbas was the standout bowler for Pakistan, claiming five wickets. Shaheen Afridi picked up three, while Hasan Ali and Nauman Ali took one wicket each.

Abbas had expressed confidence at the end of day one, saying Pakistan aimed to take quick wickets on day two and finish Bangladesh’s innings, noting that the team had been somewhat unlucky on the first day with a mix of missed opportunities and successful deliveries.
