PISHIN (Dunya News) – At least five persons were killed and 11 other were wounded when a rickshaw plunged into a ravine in Pishin, a city in Balochistan province, on Friday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the accident occurred in Nana Sahib locality of Khanuzai area where a rickshaw fell into a ditch after its brakes failed, as a result five persons died on the spot and 11 others, including women and children, sustained injuries.
Police and rescue teams reached the spot after getting information and pulled out the dead and injured from the ditch with the help of local residents and shifted them to a nearby hospital.
According to rescue sources, some of the critically injured persons were later shifted to Quetta for treatment.
