Addressing the gathering, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif stated that minorities in India continue to face oppression, while maintaining that New Delhi had attempted to mislead the international community through what he described as staged incidents such as Pulwama. He said that history reflects how conflicts have repeatedly been imposed on Pakistan, adding that regional peace has been undermined by India’s actions.

Asif further claimed that India has supported destabilising elements, referencing groups such as “Fitna al-Hindustan” and “Fitna al-Khawarij”, and asserted that such measures have placed regional stability at risk. He emphasised that the newly launched book was not merely a collection of pages but a detailed narrative of national determination and sacrifice, underlining unity and cohesion as Pakistan’s strongest assets.

Highlighting the role of the armed forces, the defence minister said Pakistan’s military had effectively countered hostile intentions, adding that collective national resolve had strengthened the country’s position.

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar noted that Pakistan’s stance has gained wider international recognition, stating that the global community had rejected what he described as India’s narrative on key issues.

The ceremony also featured remarks by retired Lieutenant General Aamir Riaz, who spoke about the historical context of Pakistan’s formation and its contemporary position. He said millions had made sacrifices during the struggle for independence, contributing to the foundations of the state. Referring to the vision of Allama Iqbal, he noted that the idea of a separate homeland for Muslims had been clearly articulated prior to independence.

Riaz further commented on the influence of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in Indian politics, stating that its ideological framework centres on promoting Hindutva. He added that India had sought to diplomatically isolate Pakistan but had not succeeded in doing so.

Discussing recent developments, he states that incidents such as the Pahalgam episode were orchestrated as false flag operations, while stressing that Pakistan’s state institutions had responded in a coordinated manner. He also highlighted the role of Pakistani media in countering allegations, describing it as a key component in presenting the country’s position.

Throughout the ceremony, speakers reiterated the importance of unity and institutional coordination, with repeated references to the broader narrative presented in “The Battle of Truth”, which documents political, military, and societal dimensions tied to Pakistan’s history and present-day challenges.
