ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast mainly hot and dry weather across most parts of the country during next 24 hours, with chances of rain-windstorm and thunderstorms at isolated places in upper regions.
According to the forecast, partly cloudy weather with isolated rain-windstorm/thunderstorm is expected in Islamabad and its surroundings.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, partly cloudy conditions are likely in upper districts, while isolated rain-windstorm/thunderstorm is expected in areas including Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kalam, Shangla, Buner, Kohistan, Malakand, Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Balakot, Kurram, Waziristan and Haripur. The rest of the province is expected to remain hot and dry.
In Punjab, partly cloudy weather is expected in most districts, with chances of rain-windstorm/thunderstorm at isolated places including Murree, Galliyat, Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Sialkot, Narowal, Gujranwala, Hafizabad and Lahore. Other areas are likely to experience hot and dry conditions.
Sindh will continue to experience hot and dry weather, with dust-raising and gusty winds expected in central and southern districts during the afternoon.
Similarly, Balochistan is expected to remain hot and dry in most districts.
Cloudy weather with isolated rain-windstorm/thunderstorm is also forecast for Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
