LONDON (Dunya News) - Several people were injured in a stabbing incident targeting anti-war protesters in London.

According to foreign media, the attack took place near 10 Downing Street, where thousands had gathered for a demonstration against war involving Iran.

Police cordoned off the area and arrested many individuals.

Reports indicate that several people sustained injuries in the knife attack.

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has said that there is no fixed deadline for extending the ceasefire with Iran.

According to the Fox News, President Trump stated that he is in no rush to end the conflict and is aiming for a strong and comprehensive agreement.

Earlier, Trump said he had instructed the military to maintain the blockade and remain prepared for all possible scenarios.

He added that the ceasefire would continue to be extended until Iran presents its proposals.

Calling the development positive for a second round of negotiations with Iran, he indicated that the next phase of talks could possibly take place on Friday.

Previously, Karoline Leavitt, the White House Press Secretary, told media representatives that no final timeframe had been set for the ceasefire.

Leavitt dismissed reports suggesting a three-to-five-day extension of the ceasefire as incorrect.

She further said that President Trump had set no deadline, was satisfied with the naval blockade, and believed that Iran was currently in a very weak position.
