LAHORE (Dunya News) – Dr Athar Waheed on Tuesday excused himself from working as Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Lahore, citing personal reasons for his inability to continue in the role.
Athar Waheed served as CTO Lahore for 14 months during which he worked for the improvement of the city’s traffic management system. His tenure as CTO Lahore was marked by efforts aimed at improving traffic flow and management across the provincial capital.
The CTO Lahore has sent a letter to the IG Punjab. Following his request, Athar Waheed has been directed to report to the Establishment Division.
Meanwhile, the Chief Secretary Punjab has issued a notification regarding Athar Waheed’s transfer to the Establishment Division.
