GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – A suspected robber was killed and two others were arrested after encounters with police in different areas of the city here on Sunday, Dunya News reported.
In an encounter taken place in Peoples Colony, an alleged dacoit was killed in an exchange of fire with police. He was identified as Irfan. He was involved in many cases of heinous crimes including attempted murder, drug trafficking and robbery.
In Satellite Town, police arrested a motorcycle thief after he was injured in an ‘encounter’. He was identified as Bashir.
Sabzimandi Police arrested a suspected robber wanted in two dozen cases of crimes. He was identified as Arshad. He got injuries in a shootout with police and he was later arrested.
The injured and dead robbers were shifted to hospital. Arms, looted valuables and cash were seized from them. Further investigation was underway.
