Pakistanis continue to return from Iran as repatriation crosses 13,000

Pakistan repatriates over 13,000 citizens from Iran via border crossings, with return process continuing smoothly amid ongoing regional tensions.

QUETTA (Dunya News) - The repatriation of Pakistanis from Iran continued for the 40th consecutive day, with 52 more individuals returning to the country.

According to officials, the latest arrivals came through the Gabd Rimdan border, bringing the total number of returnees via this route to 3,073.

Authorities said that since February 28, a total of 10,619 individuals have returned through the Taftan border, while combined arrivals through Gabd Rimdan and Taftan have reached 13,692.

The returnees include students, pilgrims, seamen, laborers, businessmen, and residents of Iran and Oman.

Officials added that immigration, clearance, and documentation processes are being carried out efficiently to facilitate all incoming individuals.
