RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – The Rawalpindi police on Tuesday continued its crackdown against illegally residing Afghan nationals in the city.
In the past 24 hours, the police conducted search operations across various areas, leading to the registration of cases against several landlords and tenants for failing to register their tenancy agreements.
According to police officials, more than 57 illegal Afghan nationals, including men, women, and children, were apprehended. These individuals lacked legal visas or documentation.
Authorities stated that cases under the 14 Foreigners Act have been filed against all the detained individuals, and further legal action is underway.
The police have also intensified the crackdown to ensure law and order in the city.
