Seven injured as terrorists target two police stations in Peshawar

According to the CCPO, no loss of life or property occurred in the attacks carried out by terrorists. The police remain on alert and are performing their duties with full dedication, he said.

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – A policeman and six civilians sustained injuries when terrorists attacked two police stations in Peshawar on late Friday night, Dunya News reported.

According to police, some unidentified assailants threw a hand grenade at the Badaber Police Station, injuring Constable Faisal. The injured policeman was immediately shifted to a hospital for medical treatment.

In a separate incident, militants attacked the Mattani Police Station with heavy weapons in which six civilians sustained injuries. Police officials present at the police station demonstrated courage and bravery and successfully repelled the attack with a strong counter-response. The militants fled due to the effective retaliation by the police.
