QUETTA (Dunya News) – Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has urged all tribes in the province to stand with security forces to help maintain peace and stability.
Speaking to media representatives outside the Balochistan Assembly, the chief minister strongly condemned the recent killing of women in the Blida area. He said that such incidents are unacceptable and called on tribal communities to cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies.
Bugti emphasized that development is only possible through lasting peace. “Progress comes with peace. By the grace of Allah, there is significant peace in Bekar,” he said, adding that the people and tribes of Dera Bugti have played a key role in maintaining law and order in their areas.
Referring to a recent tragic incident in Turbat, where unidentified gunmen opened fire on a house, killing six people including a woman, the chief minister reiterated the need for unity against violence.
He said he often tells the people of Balochistan that they have the power to establish peace in their own regions by working together and supporting the security forces.
