RAJANPUR (Dunya News) – Police operations targeting criminals in the Kacha areas of Punjab and Sindh are ongoing, with two more high-profile gangsters surrendering to authorities.
According to DPO Rajanpur, Muhammad Imran, the police conducted operations in Kacha Umrani, Sukhani, Lund, Andhar gangs, and Kacha Karachi. Drone strikes were deployed against known criminal hideouts during the raids.
The surrendered gangsters – Amin Lund, with a bounty of PKR 6 million, and Muhammad Ilyas Lund – were wanted in multiple cases of kidnapping, murder, and robbery. DPO Imran stated that the total number of surrendered criminals has now reached 357.
Law enforcement officials confirmed that arrested suspects will face prosecution under the law.
The ongoing operations have so far destroyed 41 criminal hideouts and bunkers.
Authorities issued a stern warning that any remaining gangsters refusing to surrender may be killed if encountered.
Punjab IGP Abdul Kareem and RPO Dera Ghazi Khan have instructed police to continue successful operations against criminal elements in the Kacha regions.
