LAHORE (Dunya News) - A judicial magistrate at District Courts Lahore has ordered the restoration of frozen bank accounts of renowned YouTuber Saad Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai, in a case related to the alleged promotion of gambling applications.
The court also granted him conditional permission to upload videos on YouTube.
The hearing was conducted by Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo.
Saad Rehman appeared before the court accompanied by his wife Aroob Jatoi and his legal counsel, including Barrister Amrit Sheikh and Advocate Usman Latif.
During the proceedings, the court directed that the accused’s frozen bank accounts be restored. He was also allowed to resume uploading content on his YouTube channel; however, the court imposed a strict condition prohibiting any discussion related to the pending case on his platform.
Court summons Ducky Bhai, others in gambling promotion case
The court observed that the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) had raised objections to 27 videos available on Ducky Bhai’s channel. However, it was clarified that these videos would not be removed at this stage.
The magistrate adjourned the hearing until March 11 and summoned NCCIA witnesses for the next proceedings.
Following the court appearance, Ducky Bhai’s lawyers presented him with a shield within the court premises to celebrate reaching 10 million followers, marking another milestone in his digital career.
