KARACHI (Dunya News) - In Karachi’s Malir City area, thieves carried out a major robbery at a jeweler’s shop in Ghanchi Market, cutting the shop’s locks and taking the safe, police reported.
Authorities said the stolen safe contained 850 grams of gold and 1.5 million Pakistani rupees in cash.
A case has been registered, and the market’s watchman has been taken into custody.

The jeweler stated that goods worth over 50 million rupees were stolen, and police are reviewing CCTV footage to identify the suspects.
This comes five days after another robbery in Saeedabad, where thieves broke into a jewelry shop and stole gold and silver ornaments worth more than 4 million rupees.
The case is registered at Saeedabad police station.
