ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan has formally decided to participate in the first meeting of the Gaza Board of Peace, marking a key diplomatic step toward supporting peace and stability in the region.

According to sources, the meeting will be held on February 19 and will be chaired by US President Donald Trump. Pakistan will be represented either by the prime minister or the deputy prime minister.

Diplomatic sources said the agenda will include discussions on the situation in Gaza, measures to promote peace and stability, and the formulation of a future roadmap to address ongoing challenges.

Pakistan’s participation is being viewed as part of its broader diplomatic efforts to contribute to regional peace and help resolve the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Officials said Islamabad remains committed to supporting international initiatives aimed at ensuring lasting peace and stability in the region.
