LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has taken notice of the tragic death of a sanitary worker who fell into a manhole in Arifwala after toxic gas accumulated in a sewer line.
Expressing deep sorrow over the incident, the chief minister extended her condolences and sympathy to the bereaved family.
She has also sought a detailed report on the incident from the Deputy Commissioner Pakpattan.

Maryam Nawaz strongly criticized the failure to use mandatory safety equipment before entering the manhole and directed authorities to identify those responsible for the negligence.
She ordered strict legal action against the responsible officials to prevent such incidents in the future.
