COLOMBO (Dunya News) – Pakistan’s national cricket team has arrived in Colombo after travelling from Lahore to take part in the ICC T20 World Cup.
The squad reached the Sri Lankan capital as preparations intensify ahead of the global tournament, which will be jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka.

Pakistan are scheduled to play a warm-up match against Ireland on 4 February, providing the players with an opportunity to fine-tune their combinations and adjust to local conditions ahead of the main event.
The ICC T20 World Cup will be played from 7 February to 8 March across venues in India and Sri Lanka. Pakistan have been placed in Group A, alongside India, Namibia, the Netherlands and the United States.
Pakistan will begin their World Cup campaign on 7 February with a group match against the Netherlands. Their second fixture is scheduled for 10 February, where they will face the United States in what will be a key encounter for early momentum in the group stage.

A highly anticipated clash between Pakistan and India was originally scheduled for 15 February. However, following a government announcement, the national team will no longer play that fixture.
Pakistan are set to conclude their Group A matches on 18 February with a game against Namibia, which could prove decisive in determining progression to the next stage of the tournament.
