LAHORE (Dunya News) - The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Sunday unveiled the official kit of the national cricket team for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup.

The newly revealed World Cup kit features Pakistan’s traditional light green colour scheme and has been named the “Markhor Edition.”

The design prominently displays the Markhor, Pakistan’s national animal, symbolizing strength and resilience.

The kit launch ceremony was attended by national team captain Salman Ali Agha along with star players Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, Abrar Ahmed, and Faheem Ashraf.

Meanwhile, in a statement issued by the Government of Pakistan, it was confirmed that the Pakistan cricket team will participate in the ICC T20 World Cup.

However, the statement added that Pakistan will not take the field for its scheduled match against India on February 15, 2026.

According to sources, the national team is set to depart for Sri Lanka on Monday as part of its preparations for the T20 World Cup.
