Interior minister praises FIA officer for stopping passengers with unverified papers

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited Jinnah Airport, warned against travel on incomplete documents, praised FIA officer for stopping passengers and stressed protecting Pakistan’s dignity.

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said that passengers with incomplete or unverified documents will not be allowed to travel.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited Jinnah International Airport, where he reviewed the immigration process at the counters and checked travel documents of several passengers. The interior minister got travel documents verified by FIA officials and appreciated the ASI who stopped three passengers with incomplete documents.

He said ASI Aamir Lashari set a fine example of professional duty.

Mohsin Naqvi said that passengers with incomplete and unverified documents will not be permitted to travel, adding that professional beggars cannot be allowed to travel under the guise of passengers.

Naqvi assures no travel restrictions for passengers with complete documents

He said Pakistan’s dignity is paramount and will not be compromised at any cost.

The interior minister further said that no passenger with valid documents has been or will be stopped from traveling.

On the occasion, he also asked passengers traveling abroad about the immigration process.
