LAHORE (Dunya News) - The ICC T20 World Cup trophy has arrived in Lahore, marking the start of its official tour in the city.
The first phase of the trophy exhibition was held at a college in Lahore, where a special unveiling ceremony took place.
The Australian High Commissioner attended the event as the chief guest and posed for photographs with the trophy, while students enthusiastically took selfies.
Women’s cricket matches were also organized alongside the ceremony to celebrate the occasion.

Speaking at the event, the Australian High Commissioner expressed a strong passion for cricket and said that Australia is investing in Pakistan’s future through girls’ cricket.
He added that Australia wants to see Pakistani women progress in cricket just as they are doing in other fields.
As part of the Lahore tour, the ICC T20 World Cup trophy will also be displayed during the second T20 match between Pakistan and Australia.
A special photoshoot with players has been scheduled, and fans will get an opportunity to see the trophy at the PCB shop outside Gaddafi Stadium.
