DUBAI (Web Desk) - Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said that Pakistan has set an ambitious export target of $60 billion by 2029, as part of a long-term strategy to strengthen the country’s global trade presence.
Speaking during his visit to the Pakistan Pavilion at Gulfood 2026 in Dubai, the minister emphasized that branding “Made in Pakistan” to meet international standards is a top government priority.
He added that the government aims to push Pakistan’s exports to $100 billion within the next decade.
Ahsan Iqbal toured various Pakistani stalls at the exhibition and held meetings with exhibitors.
He stressed the need to improve product quality and expand access to international markets.
