ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has announced the date of 5G spectrum auction in Pakistan.
The 5G spectrum auction in Pakistan will be held on March 10, 2026. The final schedule of the auction will be decided after regulatory coordination and consultation with stakeholders.
The confirmed timeline will give telecom operators adequate time to prepare. According to the PTA, a transparent and participatory auction will be ensured, and bidders have been instructed to review the information memorandum.
The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) emphasises that responsible social media use is a shared national responsibility.
Citizens are urged to exercise caution and refrain from sharing illegal, hateful, defamatory, or false content, which can harm the reputation of state institutions, the judiciary, or individuals.
Such acts are strictly punishable under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA), 2016, said a news release.
