KARACHI (Dunya News) — The State Bank of Pakistan reported on Thursday that the country’s official foreign exchange reserves increased by $13.4 million over the past week. According to the central bank’s weekly data, official reserves rose from $16.087 billion to $16.10 billion.
The bank said Pakistan’s total liquid foreign reserves, including those held by commercial banks, climbed by $35.1 million to reach $21.29 billion.
Commercial banks’ foreign exchange holdings also improved, increasing by $21.7 million to $5.193 billion during the same period.
