LAHORE (Dunya News) - The trophy for the Pakistan–Australia T20 series was officially unveiled on Wednesday, with Pakistan’s Salman Ali Agha and Australian captain Mitchell Marsh doing the honours.

Speaking at a press conference ahead of the series, Mitchell Marsh praised Pakistan’s bowling attack, saying the country has a strong tradition of fast bowling.

He specifically highlighted Shaheen Shah Afridi, calling him an outstanding bowler.

Marsh said that the T20 series is important for both teams in the build-up to the upcoming World Cup.

He also joked about the weather conditions, saying it is cold and the Australian squad did not even bring warm clothes.

The Australian skipper added that a decision on whether he will play in tomorrow’s match has not yet been made. However, he emphasised that the team has arrived well-prepared and expects the series to be an exciting contest.
