NCCIA reports to Islamabad High Court that Imran Khan is not cooperating in ongoing investigation of his X account.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The National Counter-Cyber Intelligence Agency (NCCIA) has submitted a report to the Islamabad High Court stating that PTI founder Imran Khan is not cooperating with the ongoing investigation into his social media accounts.

The report was filed in connection with Imran Khan’s petition to have his X (formerly Twitter) account suspended. NCCIA informed the court about the details of the ongoing investigation concerning his account.

According to the report, two separate inquiries have been initiated regarding tweets posted from Imran Khan’s X account. Both inquiries were registered with NCCIA on May 19 and September 13, 2024, and remain pending.

NCCIA investigators reportedly visited Adiala Jail multiple times as part of the inquiry but were unable to determine who manages the former prime minister’s X account. The agency stated that Imran Khan refused to provide any cooperation or disclose who is controlling his social media accounts.
