CM Afridi takes notice of DI Khan suicide blast, seeks report from IG Police

Sohail Afridi said that the provincial government stands shoulder to shoulder with the families of the martyrs in their time of grief and added that all possible assistance will be provided.

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi while taken notice of the suicide blast in Dera Ismail Khan has strongly condemned the incident, Dunya News reported on Friday.

The Chief Minister sought a report from the Inspector General of Police regarding the DI Khan blast and directed that the injured be provided with the best possible medical facilities. He also instructed the security agencies to conduct an immediate investigation into the incident and identify those responsible.

Sohail Afridi said that the incident is extremely tragic and that those responsible will be brought to justice. He added that the provincial government stands shoulder to shoulder with the families of the martyrs in their time of grief and added that all possible assistance will be provided.

The Chief Minister also prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs and for the speedy recovery of the injured.
