MOSCOW (Shahid Ghuman) — Russian President Vladimir Putin has received an invitation from the United States to join the Gaza Peace Council, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated on Monday.
He said that Moscow is currently reviewing all the details of this offer and will soon contact the US to seek clarification.
According to Peskov, the invitation was received through diplomatic channels, and President Putin is considering it.
Earlier, Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s spokesperson announced that US President Donald Trump also invited the Kazakh president to join this council.
The US has invited several other world leaders to participate in the council by President Trump. The council will begin its work during the second phase of the peace plan agreed upon between Israel and Hamas in October 2025 mediated by Egypt, Qatar, the US, and Turkey.
