Pakistan, he said, will continue backing diplomatic efforts to ensure long-term peace in the Middle East.

According to international media, the White House has already announced the names of several members of the Gaza Board of Peace, which has been created under President Trump’s peace initiative.

The board is intended to coordinate on security arrangements, humanitarian assistance, and reconstruction efforts, while also encouraging reforms within the Palestinian Authority and governance structures.

President Trump has named himself as chair of the board and has appointed US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, former British prime minister Tony Blair, World Bank President Ajay Banga, and senior negotiators Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff as members. Subsequently, leaders from Egypt, Türkiye, Argentina, and Canada also confirmed that they had been invited to join the panel.

Meanwhile, Israel has rejected the formation of the Gaza peace board, calling it inconsistent with Israeli government policy.

According to foreign media reports, the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Israel was not consulted on the creation of the board. The statement added that Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar plans to raise the issue with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
