ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Despite difficult terrain and harsh weather conditions, the Pakistan Army remains committed to serving the public. A serious accident involving a flying coach in Upper Chitral was met with a timely rescue operation by the Pakistan Army, saving several precious lives.
The coach, traveling from Peshawar to Chitral, met with an accident near the Koragh area along the riverbank. Thirteen passengers were on board the vehicle. As a result of the accident, two people lost their lives while several others were injured.
The Pakistan Army carried out an immediate rescue operation, providing first aid to the injured. Rescue teams shifted the injured passengers to the THQ Hospital after administering initial medical treatment.
Despite severe weather conditions and treacherous routes, the Pakistan Army successfully completed the rescue operation.
Army personnel also shifted passengers to a safe location and provided them with warm clothing. Local residents expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Pakistan Army for its timely and effective rescue efforts.
