PSX sees roller-coaster trading, 100-index closes in red

KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) experienced wild swings on Friday, with the 100-index ending in the negative zone after early gains.

At the start of the last trading day of the week, the 100-index jumped 330 points to reach 172,290. During the session, it briefly hit an intraday high of 172,674 points.

However, a sudden downturn hit the market during trading, and the bearish trend continued until the close. The 100-index fell by 556 points, settling at 171,404.
