KARACHI (Dunya News) – Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a slight decline on Friday following two days of consecutive price increases.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs900, bringing it down to Rs 454,862. The rate for 10 grams of 24-karat gold also decreased by Rs 772, settling at Rs 389,970. Meanwhile, 10 grams of 22-karat gold dropped by Rs 434 to Rs 357,485.

The decline was reflected in the international market as well, with global gold prices falling by $9 to $4,325 per ounce.

Silver prices in Pakistan followed a similar trend. The price of 24-karat silver per tola dropped by Rs 52 to Rs 6,848, while 10 grams of silver declined by Rs 44, reaching Rs 5,871.

Analysts suggest that minor corrections in both local and international markets contributed to the downward movement after the recent surge in precious metal prices.
