PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Investigation has identified the terrorist network responsible for last month’s suicide bombing at the Frontier Corps (FC) Headquarters in Peshawar, revealing that the attackers were linked to a banned militant organization.
Sources said the suicide bombers had spent several days in Peshawar before executing the attack. During their stay, they familiarized themselves with the city’s roads and received logistical support, including the provision of suicide vests and accommodation.
So far, over 150 individuals have been questioned in connection with the investigation. Authorities are piecing together the details of how the attackers planned and carried out the devastating strike.
The suicide bombing at the FC Headquarters, which took place last month, resulted in the martyrdom of three personnel and left five others injured.
Three attackers, including the suicide bombers, were eliminated in a swift response by the security personnel.
