Cadet College Wana attack plotted in Afghanistan, terrorists executed operation: security sources

Updated on:

Security sources confirm Cadet College Wana attack was planned in Afghanistan, executed by Afghan militants using US weapons under RAW directives to destabilize Pakistan’s security environment.

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Security sources have revealed that the attack on Cadet College Wana was planned in Afghanistan, while all the terrorists involved were Afghan nationals.

According to the sources, the operation was ordered by Khareji Noor Wali Mehsud, and the assailants acted strictly on instructions transmitted from across the Afghan border. The planning was carried out by Khareji Zahid, and on Mehsud’s command, the responsibility was falsely claimed under the name Jaish al-Hind to conceal links with Fitna al-Khawarij.

Sources added that the Afghan Taliban have pressured Fitna al-Khawarij not to use their original identity, as it increases diplomatic pressure from Pakistan and allied countries.

Reportedly, intercepted audio recordings revealed the attackers repeatedly using the name Jaish al-Hind while speaking in Urdu to mask their real identity. All weapons and equipment — including US-made arms — were supplied from Afghanistan.

The objective behind the Cadet College Wana attack, officials confirmed, was to heighten security concerns in Pakistan, allegedly in line with demands made by India’s intelligence agency, RAW. The identification of the slain Afghan terrorists has now removed all doubts regarding the origin and intent of the assault.
