ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held a meeting at Aiwan-e-Sadr, where they discussed the country’s overall political and security situation.
Both leaders strongly condemned the recent wave of terrorist attacks and reaffirmed their commitment to continue operations against foreign-backed terrorists and their facilitators until terrorism is completely eradicated.
The meeting was attended by Senate Chairman Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, and federal ministers Syed Mohsin Naqvi, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Azam Nazeer Tarar, Khalid Hussain Magsi, and Abdul Aleem Khan.
Later, a dinner was hosted at the Presidency, attended by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar. After the dinner, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and MQM ministers, along with their delegation, departed from Aiwan-e-Sadr.
