LAHORE (Dunya News) - There has been positive progress in relations between the cricket boards of Pakistan and India regarding the Asia Cup trophy issue.
According to cricket board sources, a cordial discussion took place between PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia. The meeting was arranged through an ICC official.
After the meeting, Devajit Saikia expressed optimism that the issue of the Asia Cup trophy would soon be resolved. He said that the ICC facilitated the meeting between him and Mohsin Naqvi, which was also attended by a senior official.
Confirming the development, Saikia added that this was a positive step toward initiating the negotiation process. He emphasized that the meeting was held in a pleasant atmosphere and expressed confidence that the matter would be settled soon.
