Sindh declares public holidays for Eid Milad-un-Nabi

All provincial government offices, local councils, and autonomous corporations will remain shut

KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Sindh government has announced back-to-back public holidays on September 5 and 6 in connection with Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).

According to the official notification, all provincial government offices, local councils, and autonomous corporations will remain shut during these two days.

However, officials and employees assigned to flood emergency duties and other essential services will have to stay on the job, as their leave has been canceled.

With this announcement, many citizens are expected to make the most of the long weekend, while government staff on duty will have to keep the wheels turning despite the holidays.
