LAHORE (Dunya News): The raging flood in River Ravi at Head Sadhnai near Abdul Hakeem struck a railway bridge, with water flowing right over the tracks. As a safety measure, railway authorities temporarily shut down the Khanewal–Faisalabad section to avoid any loss of life or property.
Due to the disruption, several trains have been diverted and passengers have been advised to stay tuned for updates.
According to the revised schedule, Pakistan Express (46 Down) left Lalamusa at 8:54am on time and will reach Karachi via Lahore and Sahiwal. Similarly, Millat Express (18 Down) departed from Lalamusa at 10:33 am and will also head to Karachi by the same route.
On the return journey, Pakistan Express (45 Up) and Millat Express (17 Up) will travel via Sahiwal–Lahore before reaching Lalamusa, while Karakoram Express (41 Up) will also arrive in Lahore by the same track.
Meanwhile, passengers of Karakoram Express (42 Down) from Lahore to Karachi will be adjusted in other trains today. Pak Business Express (34 Down) will depart Lahore for
Karachi at its scheduled time of 4:30 pm, while Karachi Express will leave at 6:00 pm sharp.

Shah Hussain Express (44 Down) passengers have been shifted to Green Line (6 Down), which will roll out of Lahore station at 8:50 pm tonight. Officials have urged passengers to show up at least an hour before departure for smooth adjustment.
Other trains bound for Karachi, Rawalpindi, and other cities are running as per schedule.
