LAHORE (Dunya News) - The Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) on Friday demanded the creation of new provinces across the country, Dunya News reported.
According to a statement issued after a party meeting chaired by IPP President Abdul Aleem Khan, proposals for the establishment of new provinces were presented during the session.
Abdul Aleem Khan stated that the formation of new provinces has become inevitable. He was of the view that with new provinces, the public’s problems can be resolved at their doorstep.
He added that the new provinces would contribute to national stability and economic improvement. Citizens traveling from far-flung areas to the secretariat would get relief, and institutions like the High Court, Chief Secretary, and Inspector General (IG) would be able to perform their duties more efficiently in the new provinces.
