Pakistan, Bangladesh military leaders vow to boost security cooperation

Bangladesh Army Quarter Master General meets Pakistan’s CJCSC in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Lieutenant General Md Faizur Rahman, Quarter Master General of the Bangladesh Army, called on General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), at Joint Staff Headquarters in Rawalpindi, the military’s media wing said on Friday.

The two senior officials held talks on regional security and pledged to strengthen collaboration in the defence and security domain.

General Sahir Shamshad Mirza underscored the rising trajectory of bilateral relations between Pakistan and Bangladesh, pointing out new opportunities for enhanced defence cooperation.

The Bangladeshi dignitary praised the professionalism of Pakistan’s Armed Forces and acknowledged their sacrifices in the fight against terrorism, according to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).
