ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the government is keen to take Pakistan-China friendship to new heights.
He was talking to a delegation of Chinese garments group, Challenge Fashion Private Limited, which called on him in Islamabad on Friday.
The Chinese delegation was led by Chairman of the group, Huwang Weiguo.
The prime minister said that the friendship between Pakistan and China holds a unique place in the world as both the countries have stood by each other in every moment of difficulty.
He said that the upward trajectory in the economic relations between the two countries is a source of satisfaction.
Shehbaz Sharif said the government wants the Chinese industries to set up their units in Pakistan.

He lauded the trust of the Chinese garments group, Challenge Fashion Group, in the Pakistani market.
He also welcomed the establishment of Special Economic Zone by the Challenge Group in Pakistan, saying that it will help in technology transfer, skill development and sustainable industrial growth.
The prime minister directed the authorities concerned to provide all possible facilities to the Challenge Group regarding Special Economic Zone.
“The government is committed to promoting the industrial component of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor,” said the prime minister.
He further said Pakistan wants to benefit from China's development and expertise in the textile sector.
In his remarks, Chairman Chinese garments group thanks the prime minister for extended excellent hospitality to their delegation.
