GWADAR (Web Desk): Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, on Tuesday said that civil and military institutions are playing a vital role in restoring peace in the province and ensuring the protection of people’s lives and property.
Sarfraz Bugti, while addressing a ceremony held in Gwadar in connection with Independence Day, said that in the past, roads in Balochistan used to remain blocked for hours or even for days in the name of protests, but such situations have now come to an end. In this regard, he thanked the Commander of the 12 Corps.
Sarfraz Bugti assured that complete peace will be established in the province with the help of Armed Forces, Frontier Corps, Levies, and police — and the day is not far when the peace will return to Balochistan.
The Chief Minister noted that there was a time when traveling the coastal highway from Karachi to Turbat was considered dangerous, but conditions have now improved, and just like in the past, we have the capability to overcome every challenge.
He emphasized that to eliminate the gap between the state and the people, it is essential to build development projects on realistic foundations, ensure merit in employment, and improve the standard of governance.
He appealed to the public to reject false propaganda and misleading narratives. He said that all attempts to weaken or divide Pakistan -- whether by imposing ideologies through force, abusing social influence, or creating unrest through rallies and protests -- have failed in the past and will continue to fail in the future.
The Chief Minister made it clear that the Baloch people are not part of any futile war, no power can break Pakistan, and this country will remain strong and united forever.
