ISLAMABAD – Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has hinted at “good news” soon, saying that major US investments in various sectors are just around the corner.
Speaking informally to Dunya News, Aurangzeb said that during his recent visit to the United States for trade talks, he held key meetings that went off without a hitch. He added that the US administration welcomed the idea of a trade deal with Pakistan.

Fresh from his trip, the minister said Pakistan is moving in the right direction and that the fruits of these efforts will soon be ripe for the picking. “The success of bilateral negotiations with the US is a big win for the country,” he remarked.
Aurangzeb stressed that Pakistan must take bold decisions to get the economy back on its feet, adding, “We’re happy to see the talks with the US end on a mutually beneficial note.”
