PM meets Balochistan student, extends congratulations on his success

The PM recalled that during his 2022 visit to Qila Saifullah, he met Ikramullah in a relief tent

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met with Ikramullah, a student from a remote flood-affected area of Balochistan, who secured the third position in Rawalpindi.

The PM recalled that during his 2022 visit to Qila Saifullah, he met Ikramullah in a relief tent.

During that meeting, Ikramullah expressed his desire to pursue higher education, and the premier announced he would cover his educational expenses. "Today, I am delighted to see that Ikramullah is diligently working toward his goals," he said.

On this occasion, Ikramullah stated, "Last time, I promised you I would achieve a position, and I have fulfilled that promise, which is why I am here to meet you."

The PM reminded Ikramullah, "During our last meeting, you were wearing a black shalwar kameez. I clearly remember it was a bright, sunny day, and you told me there are no schools in your area, and children have to travel far for education. You expressed your passion for learning."

Shehbaz Sharif shared that he then brought Ikramullah to Lawrence College. "When I read yesterday that Ikramullah secured the third position, I felt immense pride. The prayers of Ikramullah’s teachers and parents, along with his hard work, have borne fruit. This is a moment of great joy, and we should thank Allah for it," he added.
